What CellPulse Is

CellPulse is a battery health scanning tool that reads data from your electric vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) via an OBD-II adapter. It displays this data and computes a health score based on published thresholds.

Informational Only — Not a Guarantee

    The health score, SOH percentage, cell voltages, and all other data displayed by CellPulse are informational only. They are not a certification, warranty, or guarantee of battery condition. Do not rely solely on CellPulse data to make vehicle purchase, sale, or service decisions.
  

Not a Substitute for Professional Inspection

CellPulse is a tool to help you understand your battery's condition. It is not a replacement for a professional vehicle inspection. If you are buying or selling a used EV, we recommend having the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic in addition to using CellPulse.

Data Accuracy

CellPulse reads data directly from your vehicle's BMS and displays it as received. We do not modify, estimate, or fabricate readings. However:

BMS data may not always reflect the true physical state of the battery
Readings can vary with temperature, state of charge, and recent driving activity
The health score is based on thresholds that are initial estimates and may be updated over time
SOH is computed from the vehicle's reported usable capacity, which may fluctuate

No Liability for Decisions

You use CellPulse and its data at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from:

Vehicle purchase or sale decisions based on CellPulse data
Inaccurate or incomplete readings from the vehicle's BMS
Differences between CellPulse data and dealer or manufacturer diagnostics
Any action or inaction taken based on the health score or any other data displayed

Beta Software

CellPulse is currently in beta. Features may change, data formats may be updated, and bugs may exist. Scoring thresholds will be refined as we collect more data from the community. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, or continuity of service during the beta period.

Adapter and Vehicle Compatibility

CellPulse requires a compatible BLE OBD-II adapter and a supported vehicle. We do not guarantee compatibility with all adapters or all vehicle configurations. Using an incompatible adapter or unsupported vehicle may produce no data or incorrect data.

Your Vehicle

You are responsible for ensuring that OBD-II scanning is permitted on your vehicle and in your jurisdiction. CellPulse reads data passively — it does not modify any vehicle settings, firmware, or parameters. OBD-II reading is generally considered safe and non-intrusive, but if you have concerns about your vehicle warranty, check your warranty terms or consult your dealer.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
